Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and entrepreneurial Marketing Executive to help create a best-in-class sales process and marketing engine for a tech startup focused on the gaming and eSports industry. Responsibilities include managing the early part of the sales process (identifying prospects, qualifying them and setting up meetings for the founder), building and sustaining strategic communications with key partners of Mana, improving the end-to-end customer experience, and being willing to ‘wear many hats’ as the opportunities arise!
We are looking for someone with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task, and a proven record of delivering results. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and independent with a desire to become an expert in the online travel industry and a high level of flexibility and commitment.
Job Responsibilities
- Learn the business side of gaming and eSports!
- Identify and prospect potential clients
- Follow the sales process roadmap provided by the founder with great accuracy
- Content creation for sales, marketing and PR campaigns
- Develop client proposals and presentation decks
- Admin work such as database entry and CRM management
- Achieve weekly and monthly goals as set by the management team
Basic Requirements:
- Ideally a minimum 2 years’ experience in your professional career or a fresh graduate with internship experience – if you’ve worked in sales/marketing/operations OR at an advertising agency OR have a passion for the gaming/eSports industry then that’s a bonus!
- Strong organizational skills including prioritising, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Solid communications skills – verbal and written in English
- Flexible and eager to take on new challenges
- Willingness to take on more responsibility when the time comes
Detail-oriented
- Tech savvy. Ability to grasp new systems and applications
- Be thorough but understand that speed wins.
- Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgement
- Geographical awareness and cultural sensitivity
- Knowledge of the players in the gaming, eSports, brand advertising and digital media industries
