Part Time Instructor, Mathnasium Forum

Job Responsibilities

• Teach, encourage and motivate children from K to Sec 3 using Mathnasium’s approach and materials
• Evaluate and document student progress
• Correct student work and provide positive, constructive feedback
• Communicate student needs to center leadership and to instructional staff in a team teaching environment
• Assist in management tasks, which may include administrative assistance, curriculum preparation or other duties as assigned

 Required Qualifications: 

· Strong math skills and teaching experience (and an ability to handle children from K to grade 9 / Sec 3)

· Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills

· Ability to help manage a team of part time instructors

· Ability to professionally interact with students and parents

· Energetic and confident personality

Knowledge and experience of the Singapore primary and / or secondary school syllabus will be helpful. Most of our students are in primary school.

The learning center environment will be supportive and encouraging. Applicants should love teaching and be able to motivate students to success.

Hours

Working hours are Monday – Friday 2.30pm - 7.30pm and Saturday/Sunday 10am - 3pm. We expect part time instructors to be available for at least 3 of these days.
