Matt’s Education is looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our team. This full-time role will see the candidate personally undertaking English classes at our tuition centres, as well as engaging in curriculum and programme development work.
About Matt's Education
Established in 2011, Matt’s Education is an enrichment centre in the West region specialising in English, Maths and Science classes. Over the years, we have always been steadfast in our belief that the enjoyment of childhood and pursuit of academic success can be in the same melting pot. Our personal and unconventional approach to tuition has seen us featured in local dailies such as The Straits Times, CAN and Lianhe Zaobao. Currently, we have two outlets - Jurong West and Clementi.
Job scope:
- Undertake English group tuition classes at the primary and secondary levels
- Work closely with the founders to develop the English curriculum at Matt’s Education
- Work closely with the team on pitching enrichment programmes to schools
- Copywriting (advertorials, brochures, social media posts)
Job requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree
- Strong command of the English language
- Teaching experience as a tutor or MOE teacher
- Have the patience, passion and willingness to guide and mentor the younger generation
- Comfortable with conducting lessons in the classroom
- Able to work 4 weekdays and 1 weekend on a permanent basis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to teach one other subject (Math or Science) will lend favourable consideration
