As the Social Media Intern, you will support the agency in developing compelling content to achieve different communication and marketing objectives. It is your responsibility to get the best possible work for the client, with the interest of the agency in mind.
Your work covers four broad areas:
- copywriting and content development
- visual layout and design
- campaign management
Roles and Responsibilities
a) Copywriting and Content Development
- Writing, editing and proofreading for different content types such social media posts, feature stories, press releases, etc
- Develop content ideas / concepts
- Develop different forms of content including short social videos and photo stories
- Strategise content marketing plans to amplify distribution and reach of content
b) Visual Layout and Design
- Conceptualise visual concepts for social media content
- Have a keen eye and flair for design and visual layout
- Ability to put together simple social media visual content
b) Campaign Management
- Participate in brainstorming and strategising sessions for projects and campaigns
- Help develop campaign concepts
- Help meet campaign deliverables
- Management of campaign communication touchpoints, including provision of responses for the purpose of social media community management
c) Other ad-hoc responsibilities
Develop communication materials and manage Maven Potter’s marketing and communication channels
