Job Objective
The Conference Coordinator will assist in planning and organisation of conferences. He/She will support MCI Professional Conference Organization (PCO) services that help to engage stakeholders.
The Conference Coordinator works closely with the PCO team to meet client’s expectations. He/She has to manage given responsibilities in administration and operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Collation of exhibitors’ information (logos, company write-up) and speaker information(photo/abstracts/bio)
- Preparation,drafting and generating of reports
- Drafting correspondence for customers & suppliers
- Sourcing quotes
- Updating the website (sponser logos/ write-up)
- Administrative work (filling of contracts/ invoices)
- Answering phone calls and take and forward messages if needed.
- Manage mail, fax and courier assigned by the Manager
- Facilitate the preparation of site inspection trips
Description of Relationships
The Conference Coordinator reports to Conference Manager. He/She works closely with PCO Sponsorship Team and Marketing & Communications team.
Job Requirements
- Currently studying Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
