Role Objective
Objective of the Regional Marketing/Events Intern is to provide support to the Regional Marketing & PR Manager, who manages 9 dealers across the Australia and South Asia markets.
This internship role in H1 2020 will play a critical role in the project management of key regional events and successful delivery of regional marketing and branding initiatives.
The incumbent is expected to be both internal & external stakeholder-facing, requiring accurate and effective communicative abilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Branding
- Support the development and execution of 2020 regional marketing strategy, calendar and initiatives covering the areas of Communications, Events, CRM, PR
- Manage quarterly submissions and review of dealer marketing activities
- Serve as the key custodian of the McLaren brand in the region and drive full implementation of new global visual identity and brand guidelines across the region
- Participate in strategic brand research projects in the region where necessary
- Regional Events Planning & Execution
- Assist marketing manager in budget management and resource allocation process
- Partake in end-to-end regional events planning and lead execution with support of external PR and event agencies/ dealers
- Conduct and partake in agency briefs
- Manage overall project timelines and assume budget administration duties
- Plan and prepare entire event programs targeted at different end-customers - McLaren global executives, dealers, media and VVIPs
- Manage overall guest experience at events
- Assist with on-site execution of marketing events
- Training
- Pro-actively identify gaps of product and brand knowledge within dealer staff and work with marketing manager to rectify gaps
- Lead the planning and execution of regional marketing workshops for dealer network to support new product launch and on-boarding of new marketing staff within the region
- Marketing Reporting & Administration
- Manage and track purchase orders and revenue from marketing events.
- Collate quarterly marketing reports from retailers
- Support reporting and presentation requirements to central and regional team.
- Compile media press kits, press releases and marketing collaterals
