Mectron Engineering is looking for a Draughtsman that is pumped up enough to independently realise technical drawing from concepts. Work in an SME One Asia Award winner on projects, and prepare technical drawings and plans with the engineers!

Improve on your technical drawing and planning as a Draughtsman with Mectron Engineering. Learn to independently liaise with the various stakeholders involved, to prepare an accurate and feasible drawing and plan for clients’ review. You will also get to see the full spectrum of services offered, and how a full service engineering company works. Further, you will get a glimpse of the various departments and how they operate as you work with them on various projects. Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Liaise with relevant department to obtain clear specifications for technical drawing and planning
- Prepare technical drawings and plan for review
- Support departments and contact managers with necessary drawings and plans from concept to handover
- Liaise with project manager to understand specific needs
- Carryout site surveys
- Solve problems with fabrications
- Independently use relevant software for technical drawings and plans
- Research on and suggest ways to improve technical processes
- Any other task assigned by Management
Qualifications
- Diploma holder (Mechanical or equivalent)
- Knowledge of autocad
- Minimum 2 years experience in related discipline
- Good command of English
- Can start work immediately
- Singaporeans and PRs only
