ROLE 1: SOCIAL MEDIA PLANNER INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research industry trends and best practices to determine the most effective ways to reach desired audiences
- Develop and maintain social media networks, websites, and online communities
- Use visual and written language effectively
- Engage with major social networking sites, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, while monitoring industry-related blogs and news sites
- Develop new strategies for
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies, growing existing social communities, including content calendars, and measurement
- Create blog content, including keyword descriptions, and build relationships with industry influencers
- Create quarterly, monthly, and weekly editorial calendars
- Follow current social media trends and innovations for new planning
ROLE 2: SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGN INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create visual content, including infographics, memes, GIFs, and other visual assets
- Design and develop visual social presentations for advertising, social communities, and brand websites
- Create photo and video content for social media ads and postings
- Satisfy customers by determining specifications and identifying their image and style
- Utilise social media tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and HTML/CSS (bonus)
