General Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Manager in all Vessel & Terminal Operations & related procurements matters in Far East ports (excluding Oceania).
- Assist Senior Manager to in the event of vessel’s accidents/emergency cases.

Specific Areas of Responsibilities
Manage Terminal Operations
- Maintain good relations with Terminal operators
- Monitor & ensures performances by Terminals
- Monitor & follow up on rebates and commitments by MSC with respective Terminals.
Operations related Procurements
- Assist MSC HQ with Terminal contracts negotiations.
- Review & approve various local contracts with vendors.
Accidents/Emergency
- Assist MSC HQ to coordinate with agents, authorities, repair workshop, Insurance and various parties.
Other General Duties
- Assist MSC HQ’s Chartering Dept on various chartering related matters.
Eg: On/Off hire arrangements.
- Assist MSC HQ’s Energy Efficiency Dept on various related matters.
Eg: Show power supply arrangements.
- Assist MSC HQ’s Legal/Claims Dept on various operational related matters.
- Prepare & submit various reports to MSC Geneva.
Candidate Requirement
- Degree/Diploma holder, preferably in Maritime Transportation or Nautical Studies.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in container shipping industry.
- Independent and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Able to work long hours, on weekends and public holidays when required.
- Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of CASP is essential but not necessary.
- Believe in team-driven culture.
- The ability to speak various languages is also welcome.
