Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: 

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the compliance field and learn about Ethics & Compliance frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry that impact our operations and organization, which serve thousands of patients across Asia-Pacific. It offers hands-on experience in a dynamic Ethics & Compliance environment, which is unique to the Pharmaceutical industry. Intern will receive mentorship and guidance from experienced Ethics & Compliance professionals in the organization, with additional opportunities to develop professional skills and build your network.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. APAC E&C policies and procedures harmonization - Assist in the review and analysis of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.

2. APAC Events Approval automation project - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable the roll out of automation initiatives of Regional Ethics & Compliance team.

3. Regional Events Monitoring - Support the Regional Ethics & Compliance team in conducting audits and assessments of departmental practices.

 

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze regulations and compliance issues effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in reviewing documents and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for reporting findings and collaborating with teams.
  • Research Skills: Proficiency in gathering and interpreting relevant laws, regulations, and compliance guidelines.
  • Organizational Skills: Capability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and documentation efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with compliance software and tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and support compliance initiatives.
  • Ethical Judgment: Understanding of ethical standards and integrity in compliance matters.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to learn and adjust to new regulations and compliance standards.
