MENDAKI Club is a fully volunteer-run non-profit organization that seeks to support the career aspirations of Malay/Muslim (MM) Youths and to avail them with opportunities to give back to the community.
- Brief Description:
This position is responsible for supporting Mendaki Club’s Marketing Communications Team, as an intern and will have opportunities to learn and work in meaningful projects in the Marketing Communications space that will address Mendaki Club’s programmes needs. You will be expected to work between speculated time on weekdays but also be required to work on evenings and over weekends, to support executive committee meetings and programmes (claimable via working hours time-off).
- Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Coordinate with the program teams, designers and volunteer marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns to attract participants to our events2) Execute communications strategies to increase the awareness of the club’s activities3) Report the effectiveness of marketing and communications strategies using digital tools
- Learning Objectives and Outcomes:
1) Learn about marketing and communications in the context of volunteer-led initiatives for the Malay/Muslim community2) Learn about the latest and best practices in marketing and communications from a team of diverse marketing and communications professionals who volunteer at Mendaki Club3) Learn about Malay/Muslim issues and efforts towards solving these issues
