Opportunity
The role of Marketing Sales & Admin Intern is vital in spearheading a key initiative in M&G Investments’ Asia business. The candidate will facilitate the efficient day to day activities of the firm’s business development and operations. The assistance required varies from day to day, but the ultimate goal is to provide support in sales, audit, legal and compliance, management of information systems, pricing and terms of business documentation.
The business has a ‘start up’ atmosphere, therefore, we prefer someone who is flexible, proactive and can work well with ambiguity. Prior experience in operations is not necessary as training and guidance will be provided on the job. The position is ideal for business graduates who want to have credible work experience in the asset management industry and who seek to develop a real understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by an international MNC seeking entry into new markets.
In addition, the comprises of dynamic individuals of different nationalities and cultures. This presents opportunities for internationally-minded graduates to work closely with a culturally diverse team and gain a deeper understanding of cross-cultural management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales teams with client presentations and logistics in event preparations.
- Assist sales team in fund comparisons and developing monitoring tools from Bloomberg Terminal
- Finessing existing email templates for client servcing
- CRM tool (Salesforce) management
- Assisting Marketing in sales support related activities
- Day to day business support (such as Finance payment workflow, filing and some internal communications
- Prepare management information reports and liaise with external vendors in support of business initiatives and development
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

Skills and Knowledge
- Fluency (written and oral) in English required, preference for Mandarin (written and oral)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience in business operations/sales/finance a plus
- Previous banking/investment management experience a plus
Additional Requirements
- Able to legally work in Singapore
