Job Description

The Role:

The successful intern supports the Head of HR, Asia Pacific, Associate Director and the Senior Associate in the day to day operations of the Human Resources Team. 

We welcome interns who are able to commit on a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week) basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful intern will handle and support various HR activities/tasks, including the following:

  • Engagement in various HR business projects (Asia-wide)
  • Support regulatory communication with the relevant government bodies
  • Management of various databases across a scope of HR initiatives, such as Learning, Benefits and Compensation, Recruitment and the HR Information System (Workday). On request, review and present quantitative assessments of policies.
  • Planning of events (wellbeing and CSR related projects), working closely with Secretariat team.
  • Calendar planning and other ad-hoc duties

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

The successful intern should be a self-starter who has the ability to use his/her own initiative.

  • Pursuing a degree of relevant discipline in Business Management, Human Resource or Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, collecting relevant information and identifying possible solutions
  • Lateral thinker, inquisitive, open to new ideas, enthusiastic to learn
  • Should be highly meticulous and organised, possesses good interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a team centric environment
  • Able to multi-task
  • Strong command of the English language
