Mia Tavola – Business Operations & Strategy Intern

Mia Tavola is seeking a Manager Business Operations & Strategy Intern to work directly with our co-founder. This role will place you in a highly influential position that participates in driving the growth of our business and impact in strategic, operational, business development and marketing. 

As the co-founder of Mia Tavola, Pam makes decision about the overall direction, priorities and strategy of the entire organization and is involved in all Mia Tavola’s significant initiatives. Working together with Pam, you will be her right-hand in all aspects of her job and have visibility into the diverse range of Mia Tavola’s strategy for growth and expansion. 

You are likely a professional who has a proven track record of managing strategic projects, comfortable with a dynamic and fast-changing environment. You’re practical, very organised, great at creating thorough structures and plans, and will carry it out with responsiveness, thoughtfulness, and a high degree of quality. You thrive in a growing early-stage company and a “hands on” role with mix of operational duties. 

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a thought partner and force multiplier for our co-founders, working directly to carry out the organization’s goals 
• Lead and manage strategic projects and operations (ensuring smooth end-to-end customer journey) for Mia Tavola
• Working with the owners to ensure that sales goals are being met and assisting as needed in that process
• Lead marketing initiatives and work closely with various marketing partners in developing activations in order to drive sales
• Continuously seek ways to maximize exposure through marketing, sales calls, networking events, partnerships and cooperation

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask
• Comfort working with multiple groups within business
