Mighty Velo is Singapore’s sole distributor of performance foldable bikes manufactured by Pacific Cycles of Taiwan for the SEA markets. We are an independent Singaporean-owned SME with a group of staff, both full-time, part-time staff (who are ex-interns now back in university) and interns who work closely together to ensure that our customers go home with their bikes happy and satisfied and there is a vibrant online community of cyclists and folding bike enthusiasts.
We have four locations: a Bike Building and Distribution Warehouse, a Technical Service Centre, our Marketing and HR Office headquartered at Tai Seng, as well as our Bike Experience store located at Breadtalk IHQ Building.
INTRODUCTION
Do you want to learn to hustle as a video content creator? Are you willing to learn many different things during your internship? Mighty Velo is more than just a regular bicycle company or "bike shop". Over here, we make use of various social media and e-commerce platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, Youtube, Telegram, Shopify and TikTok etc) to create content such as customer interviews, product talking head videos, branding videos, lifestyle videos, posts and static posts.
Everybody here is encouraged to explore their creative freedom and try their hand at different tasks and challenges that you have not tried before at University.
YOU WILL LEARN TO:
· Oversee a content project from start to finish
· Conceptualise storyboards and scripts for video content
· Shoot photos and videos for multiple products
· Familiarize yourself with the process of conducting a Facebook LIVE
· Ensure proper backup and archives are made.
· Create basic animation and visual effects for video production
· Source for suitable music and sound effects.
· Work with colleagues across Digital Marketing, Design, and e-commerce teams
· Engage with retail customers at our Experience Store and learn online and offline retail communication
REQUIREMENTS：
· Presently studying a Degree course in Communications, Marketing or Business
· Good written and spoken English
· Willing to take on new challenges
· Able to meet deadlines
· Keen interest in social media and national news
· A team player who is able to laugh at yourself and is happy
