At Minto Studios, we specialise in corporate and commercial photography in Singapore, creating impactful visual content that elevates brands. Minto Studios is expanding and we are in need of interns who can assist our team in our growing demand of corporate / commercial photography & video productions. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of media production projects and have a say in how our clients’ stories are told in the visual format. This can be in one or a combination of different visual media solutions & social media. In addition there will be opportunities to take a peak behind the curtain of running a media business while working close with our Director Lionel Heng. We hope that in this role the intern will be able to explore their creative boundaries and achieve personal growth and direction in their interest in media together with us.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the team in all stages of media creation; pre-production, production and post-production.
- Assist with editing and retouching of photographs for delivery
- Help to set up, operate and teardown camera and lighting equipment during shoots.
- Work with the team to edit social video content using editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.
- Assist in managing and organising media files and assets.
- Assist with studio space & equipment management.
- Contribute to the creative process by providing input and ideas for content development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media and podcast production.
- Work with the team to brainstorm on weekly social media content for TikTok & Instagram.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Communications, Production or any relevant field
- Strong drive to develop their creative skillsets in the media production industry.
- Strong interest in social media (Tiktok & IG) and podcasting is a bonus.
- Basic knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere or any other video editing software
- Basic knowledge of camera operation and lighting techniques will be a bonus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling.
