We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in accounting within a dynamic agency setting. The Accounting Intern will assist with financial record keeping, perform data entry, and support the finance department in daily accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.

- Perform data entry and help maintain financial records.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting and other accounting projects.
- Help reconcile bank statements and track company expenses.
- Support the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
- Collaborate with team members on ad hoc finance projects and audits.
Required Skills
- Current enrollment in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role through internships or part-time jobs.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in financial systems.
