In 2021, John started On My Own Terms Podcast where he speaks with unconventional career changers and the risk-takers who took the roads less travelled. He wants to help people discover their own definition of success and explore living a life of purpose. Amongst the topics and stories on the podcast so far include turning a photography hobby into a full time business, leaving a lucrative banking career to join an unknown startup, quitting a $500K fancy 14-year career at its peak, etc.
We are accepting quotes and proposals for [2 episodes/monthly] podcast post-production for On My Own Terms Podcast. This show is an interview-style [audio+video] show that is published on a [biweekly] schedule.
A typical episode will have 2 participants - 1 host and 1 interviewee. Finished episodes range from 20 mins to 90 minutes long, with an average of 60 minutes in length. (There is intention to reduce duration of future finished episodes based on feedback so far.) Raw audio provided for each episode will range from 60 to 90 minutes. Post-production turnaround time requirements may range from 2 to 5 days, with an average of 3 days.
On My Own Terms Podcast may require content editorial decisions such as determining which recorded clips should be included, selection of music or media production elements, and specific final episode length requirements. Hence this role will allow you to have reasonably high creative autonomy (within brand guidelines) and great opportunity for you to add to your portfolio.

** MINIMUM CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE **
The successful candidate must have or be able to demonstrate the following minimum requirements:- Having experience working with/editing video- Having experience repurposing content for social media & YouTube
** ADDITIONAL SERVICES **
[ ] Writing title, description, and show notes
[ ] Creating episode-specific graphics
[ ] Creating episode-specific moving-wave graphics
[ ] 3 video snippets for social media & Youtube
[ ] Sound design i.e. adding light music to enhance pace of podcast (Optional)
** PREFERRED CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE **
The successful company or contractor may have or may be able to demonstrate the following preferred requirements:
- Familiar working with Descript (transcription software)
** PRICING FORMAT FOR QUOTES AND PROPOSALS **
Quotes and proposals will be submitted with pricing in Singapore Dollars (SSD) on a per-episode basis.
