Software Engineer Intern, Web Frontend (Summer 2021)
We are currently looking for a Software Engineer Intern with strong full-stack JavaScript background to join our engineering team's journey building the next iteration of the Mobbin platform.
For this role, you will collaborate with fellow engineers, designers and product managers on our team to deliver sustainably-engineered, mission-critical frontend features optimized for correctness and performance.
You are a good cultural fit if you:
- Possess good knowledge and skill baseline for your technical vertical
- Have a strong inclination to identify and probe ambiguities
- Communicate clearly and concisely
- Have a high propensity for learning
Here are some technical qualities we are looking for:
- Basic grasp of JavaScript and React
- Basic experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
- Basic experience with unit testing and integration testing
- Ability to reason about and make technical trade-offs
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Strong motivation to drive impact by making product or infrastructure improvements
It's a bonus if you have experience with some of the following:
- Languages - TypeScript, GraphQL
- View framework - React
- Networking & state management - Apollo Client, Relay, MobX, Redux
Undergraduates who are majoring in computer science, computer engineering and other similar undergraduate programs are welcome to apply.
Time period: 10 May 2021 ~ 30 July 2021. Full time, 40 hours a week paid internship.
