Role Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (Payment Services). This role is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our payment solutions from identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the payments industry and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional payment solutions that address our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, guiding them to achieve performance targets and supporting their professional growth, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Oversee and manage all stages of business development for payment services, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Serve as the main contact for operational inquiries and issues related to payment services.
- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and other channels to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and oversee tailored proposals, and negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with prospective clients to secure new business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
- Monitor and manage in identify root causes when issues arise by implement corrective actions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce risks.
- Establish and sustain robust relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within potential client organizations.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to shape the product roadmap based on market needs.
- Stay current on industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities and address challenges.
- Represent company at industry events and conferences to boost brand visibility and cultivate valuable business connections.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within fintech companies or payment gateways in the financial services or fintech industry, including a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. A strong understanding of payment services and related technologies is a plus.
This role also requires at least of 2 to 3 years of leadership and management experience.
In-depth understanding of the virtual account for payment industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Salary Range from $8,000 to $11,000.
