Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our remittance services. This role involves developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, forging key partnerships, and managing client relationships within the remittance sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the remittance industry, a proven track record in business development, and excellent leadership skills to drive team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, guiding them to achieve performance targets and supporting their professional growth, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
  • Oversee, develop, implement and manage all stages of business development for remittance to expand remittance services and increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the remittance sector, including potential clients, partners, and market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, remittance agents, and other strategic partners. Manage and nurture existing client accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships with existing accounts, while negotiating and closing high-value deals, including contracts and partnership agreements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, using these insights to inform strategic decisions and adapt business development strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—product, marketing, and operations—to ensure alignment and successful delivery of remittance services and provide feedback to refine service offerings and better address client needs.
  • Serve as the main contact for operational inquiries and issues related to Remittance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within fintech companies or payment gateways in the financial services or fintech industry, including a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. A strong understanding of remittance services and related technologies is a plus.
  • This role also requires at least of 2 to 3 years of leadership and management experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the remittance industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Salary range from $8,000 to $11,000
