Established in 2013, MCL is the premier go-to digital film lab that first brought Digital Cinema Packages-related services to the Singapore media industry. Always at the cutting-edge, 2016 marks a new chapter in the company’s life – moving to a new location, with expanded services, and a state-of-the-art world-class facility. MCL now offers a Dolby Atmos-certified dubbing stage, DCI-compliant cinema projector colour grading, true HDR monitoring and mastering services all in a one-stop shop.
Some notable projects that we have embarked on include – for audio post-production, Pop Aye (2017), Lucky Boy (2017), In Time to Come (2016), and for colour grade, 4 Love (2016), Miss J Contemplates Her Choice (2015), and most recently, HBO Asia Original SENT (2017) for both audio post and colour grade. We have also been involved in many Digital Cinema Package (DCP) mastering and duplication projects since 2013, including The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (2014), 7 Letters (2015), Train to Busan (2016) and most recently Lucky Boy (2017). Some of these projects have went on to be screened around world such as In Time to Come by Tan Pin Pin which has made its world premiere and is in competition at the Visions du Reel 2017 in Switzerland and Pop Aye by Kirsten Tan which was the first Singapore feature film to be selected to compete in the Sundance Film Festival 2017. Pop Aye has also gone on to clinch the World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Prize for Screenwriting at the festival.
Some of our key customers include film production houses such as HBO Asia, MM2 Entertainment and Giraffe Pictures, and film distributors such as Apple Inc., Clover Distribution and Anticipate Pictures. MCL is also a proud Festival Technology Partner of the Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) since 2014, providing technological support in terms of DCP mastering of films and post-production for the commissioned SGIFF short film. We have also sponsored prizes for the Best Film of the Asian Feature Film Competition and Best Singapore Short Film of the Southeast Asian Short Film Category.

Calling all mass comm students, if you are interested in exploring different aspects of post production and have a penchant for social media marketing, we have just the role for you! You'll work with us to keep our social media alive and also be involved in the projects that we will working on for the next few months! Requirements: proficient in Illustrator and/or Photoshop.
// Post Production Intern
We are looking for individuals who has a strong interest in post production (offline editing/colour grading/audio post/anything!) and is willing to give anything a try. Requirements: proficient in any Adobe series softwares and or/ has editing experience. Bonus if you have an awesome attitude!
