This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at Modern Wealth Academy. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying strategic business opportunities, building key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales: Experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the coaching or financial services industries. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
2. Live Coaching & Retreat Management: Familiar with live coaching sessions and the management of retreats while serving in senior management roles.
3. New Business Opportunities: Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
4. Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Sales Performance Tracking: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and business development activities. Provide regular updates to senior management.
6. Event Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the team to plan and execute events, such as webinars, workshops, and retreats, aimed at attracting and engaging potential clients.
7. Partnership Liaising: Develop partnerships and collaborate with other entrepreneurs in the same industry.
8. Speaker Hub Management: Create a hub where speakers come together and upsell each other leads.
9. Sponsorship Acquisition: Look for sponsorship opportunities ranging from USD 20k to 50k per customer, and reach out to companies for pop-up booth collaborations at seminar events.
10. Cold Outreach: Conduct cold outreach to speakers and sponsorships, and generate leads.
11. Podcast Coordination: Identify podcasters and speakers, and organize podcast sessions with speakers if possible.
12. Permanent Collaboration: Aim for long-term, permanent collaborations, with a potential commission structure of 2-5% of total dealings.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the coaching or financial services sectors.
2. Strong research, networking, and outreach skills. Ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
3. Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
4. Experience in building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
5. Familiarity with planning and executing events, such as webinars, workshops, and retreats.
6. Familiarity with relevant software tools for business development and sales tracking.
