The Opportunity

The Role

Work closely with the bridal stylist / sales team to ensure all the alteration & customization orders are completed timely and accurately.

• Perform alterations/ customizations of suits, pants, gowns, and cheongsam etc
• Sew / repair of dresses according to the Alteration /customization order form
• Accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of dresses
• Update the job orders status daily and in accordance with the required report format
• Upkeep of the sewing equipment/machine, tools, and the tailor room to ensure the room is clean and well maintained
• Assist Bridal Stylist in customer’s measure and fitting, when required
• Liase with Bridal Stylist and or the Bridal Stylist assistant to schedule customer’s fitting, delivery, pick-up & etc
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for: 

• experience in dealing with bridal gown sewing, alterations & customisation
• experience in dealing with bridal gown fitting
• Able to handle industrial sewing machine
• Able to deal with removing stains, handling steamer, iron, etc
• Able to work independently and is also a great team player (ability to work well with people.)
• Able to multi-task, and manage tight timelines, well-organised and detail oriented.
• Good Communication Skill
• Has a strong sense of responsibility.
• Has a can-do attitude
• Is a self-starter
• Additional skillsets such as cutting, and drafting will be advantageous.
