Montessori Seniors is a Dementia Day Care Centre that provides Full-day day-care for people with dementia. As well as activity sessions for people with dementia. We are located at 1 Kay Siang Road #04-10 and is a bus stop away from Red Hill MRT station. 

Job Description

Duties

  • Take turns as the lead facilitator to conduct the activity program for the seniors on their own or together with the other program facilitators
  • The activity program currently consists of the following parts
  • Music with singing and instruments
  • Exercise
  • Art and Craft
  • Reading
  • Discussion of topics of interest to the seniors
  • Suggest and develop new parts programs for the seniors
  • Develop new program material for the seniors
  • Conduct assessments of the seniors to assess their mental and physical condition
  • Take vital signs
  • Accompany the seniors to the toilet
  • Assist the seniors in cleaning themselves as required
  • Take turns on the transport to bring seniors to the centre and to send them home
  • Other duties as required.

 

Working hours

  • Working hours are for 9 hours including lunch
  • Working hours are dependent on transport and client needs
  • The centre is open Monday to Friday
  • The centre is open from 8am to 6pm
