Promoting & Protecting Screen Communities in Asia Pacific
The Motion Picture Association (MPA) and the Motion Picture Association International (MPA-I) represent the interests of the six international producers and distributors of filmed entertainment. To do so, they promote and protect the intellectual property rights of these companies and conduct public awareness programs to highlight to movie fans around the world the importance of content protection. These activities have helped to transform entire markets benefiting film and television industries in each country including foreign and local filmmakers alike.
Communications Department – Intern Program
Provide support to the Communications Department, MPA Asia Pacific, including but not limited to the following tasks and initiatives:
- Manage inventory, compile and distribute internal media coverage reports
- Support planning and execution of major events such as film workshops
- Conceptualize and rejuvenate branding materials; ideas on expanding our presence on social media in the region
- Deliver basic design jobs e.g. research findings one-pager/infographics to support advocacy goals (so design skills is a bonus!)
- Generate content (videos/infographics/graphic) to drive engagement and conversion on social media platforms
- Web and data management
