Role Focus
The purpose of this role is adding firepower to the IT function and support the IT Manager for the Singapore Agency. The role will involve helping redesign IT as a service function in a creative agency environment and work across a variety of tools that will ultimately help drive efficiency across the Organization.
Key elements of the role will include:
Help define the hardware requirements for various roles within the overall IPG context. This will expose the intern to balancing Capex with business needs. In addition, help manage basic installation, configuration and support of IT equipment.
Build a knowledge base of software systems as well as sophisticated conference tools such as Bluejeans and WebEx within MullenLowe Group.
Help manage and resolve desktop requests e.g. adding users, Active Directory Updating, e-mail account creation, General IT trouble shooting.
Gain exposure on supporting Mac OSX as well as windows users and develop key stakeholder relationship in the Organization.
Assist Finance in ensuring timely completion of Timesheets by unblocking user accounts and also help create reports for auditing.
Support the operations and document a pragmatic workflow for inhouse TV/Projection unit for across media types (Apple and Windows users)
Any other ad-hoc projects
Main Competencies:
Technical Understanding of Macs/PC’s and good troubleshooting skills.
Skills/Experience:
Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight reporting deadlines
Resourceful, meticulous and adaptive
A hands-on, detailed and self-motivated individual with strong and analytical and problem solving
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education:
