Nanyang Beverage is a Singapore-based manufacturer of instant beverages and distributor of Killiney-branded food merchandise. A joint-venture (JV) between local heritage brand Killiney Kopitiam Group and Singapore-based food technology company Hoow Foods.  

Killiney Kopitiam is the oldest Hainanese coffeeshop in Singapore. Traditionally famous for its Nanyang-style coffee/tea, half boiled eggs and kaya toast. We offer a wide range of FMCG merchandise online, including instant beverages, capsule pods, ready-to-cook food pastes and frozen/ready-to-heat food products under the same heritage brand. 

Nanyang Beverage is seeking to employ a Business Development Manager to assist and oversee the commercialisation, execution of deals and partnerships with external organisations.

Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead business development efforts to support and drive the growth of the company, in line with its business direction 
  • Ensure overall sales target (for B2C and B2B) are met through planning, forecasting, marketing and collaboration with internal teams, as well as through liaising with respective e-commerce key account managers and B2B partners 
  • Identifying new business opportunities in Singapore and other global regions 
  • Engage and grow the company’s online presence through social media platforms and e-commerce channels 
  • Drive and project manage a pipeline of collaborative projects with internal and external brands/partners 
  • Support other Hoow Foods family of companies’ projects

Requirements: 

  • Passion in e-commerce and business development 
  • Relevant industry exposure in F&B 
  • Strong relationship development skills 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication 
  • Self-reliant and solution-oriented way of working with outstanding team skills 
  • Strong sense of ownership and attention to details 
  • Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word & Excel) – ability to develop & present
