Corporate Development is positioned within the CEO's Office, with a primary focus on driving organization-wide initiatives that are strategically aligned with long-term growth and future opportunities.
The role supports the Head of Corporate Development across various functions, including strategic planning, project management, research, writing, and administrative tasks. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Leadership Team, internal departments, and external strategic partners on key organizational initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate should possess strong strategic thinking capabilities, excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and a keen attention to detail. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Provide full-spectrum project management support to the Head of Corporate Development, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, facilitate effective stakeholder engagement, and smooth execution through careful planning, coordination, and monitoring
- Work with CEO's Personal Assistant to organize, prioritize and manage CEO's evolving schedule and responsibilities using judgement and discretion against organization-wide goals and deadlines

- Activating NVPC's Corporate Purpose
Strategy and Partnership Support
- Stay updated with NVPC's vision, mission and strategic goals through regular communication with Leadership Team and participation in discussions
- Support the execution of key initiatives that contribute to the overall organisational success, ensuring a seamless connection between strategic priorities and day-to-day operations
- Identify, develop, manage and optimise partnerships that drive mutual value, align with the company's strategic objectives, and foster long-term relationships with key external stakeholders
Engagement and Communications Support
- Conduct research and prepare materials, including briefings, talking points, presentations, and proposals, to support CEO's engagements with key internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of materials
- Ensure effective communication within the organisation to align key stakeholders and departments
- Draft, edit, and proofread strategic communications (e.g., speeches, LinkedIn posts) for internal and external audiences, and serve as a key liaison with internal/external stakeholders
Others
- Undertake other tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO / Head of Corporate Development to support strategic objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Management or related fiel
- Ideally possess at least 2-5 years of relevant experience supporting or working with senior management
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record in coordinating cross-functional teams and delivering complex org-wide initiatives on time
- Superior research, analytical, planning, organizational skills, and detail-orientation
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across teams and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and exercise mature professional judgment
- Effective, versatile and action-oriented with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented and highly organized
- Passionate about giving and committed to inspiring and working with people, communities, organisations and leaders across all sectors to build a City of Good
