Programme
Company of Good marketing strives to not only grow its members, but also establishing Company of Good as a thought leader in the corporate giving space while building on the compelling business case for corporate purpose.
The Company of Good Marketing Intern will learn and support these areas of marketing – and more broadly, linking the business-to-business messaging to the broad NVPC vision of a “City of Good” (Business-to-Consumer).
The intern will also support the efforts in building brand awareness and operational needs for Company of Good and its various programmes, such as the Company of Good Fellowship, Champions of Good and Collaborate for Good via various channels (e.g. CityofGood Facebook and IG; Event management)
Opportunities

- Be able to further develop your writing and communication skills by being exposed to B2B and B2C messaging during your internship and liaison with external parties.
- Internally, you will learn how to demonstrate and apply time management and work prioritisation skills with your allocated tasks, while strengthening your presentation and conversational skills during internal team meetings where the team is often there to support and provide positive feedback for improvement.
- Learn more about event planning and management skills as we navigate through a ‘New Normal” where physical gatherings are not recommended.
- Overall, you will not only gain the ability of playing a part in the community eco-system of needs (as an individual, business professional or group) , but also learn how each of these components can make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Primary support role for COG Marketing across COG Programmes
- Tracking of social media engagement across COG Programmes
- Assisting in event management for COG programmes
- Administrative duties in assistance to coordinate between COG Marketing and vendors (if any)
- Ensuring smooth process of back end preparation work between vendors and NVPC
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time relating to programs under ‘Company of Good’.
Deliverables
- Brainstorming and crafting of social media content angles across COG Programmes for CTOG platforms
- Tracking of social media engagement across COG Programmes
- Assist in event management support for COG programmes
- Identifying relevant content angles to cross promote COG content onto CTOG platforms
- Administrative support for COG Marketing Team (e.g. Meeting minutes taking)
Requirements
- Min. Diploma Level
- Keen interest in working with Non-Profit Organisations
- Have some ‘Marketing Communications’ background / Interest in Marketing or Marketing Communications / Public Relations
- Interest in Project or Event management / Programme design
- Meticulous and an eye for details
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Dynamic Team player
- Self-initiater, and creative thinker
- Outspoken
- Able to think resourcefully and propose possible solutions around issues
