Job Description

You will play a vital role in supporting our marketing team by conducting detailed market research and analysis. Your primary focus will be on the tea industry, including identifying market trends, distribution opportunities through (tea, coffee, and syrup) distributors, analysing consumer behaviour, and evaluating competitor strategies. Through your findings, you will help inform our business decisions and ensure our brand remains competitive and relevant in the ever-evolving tea market.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct extensive market research to gain insights into the tea industry, including market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
  • Utilize various research methodologies such as internet research, and data analysis to collect relevant data and compile comprehensive reports.
  • Analyse and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and provide actionable recommendations to the sales team.
  • Monitor and track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings to identify potential areas for improvement and differentiation.
  • Research the target markets and market potential for distributor that are in the tea, coffee and syrup industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news, market trends, and advancements in the tea industry to identify potential business opportunities and areas for innovation.
  • Maintain organized records of research findings, ensuring accuracy, and confidentiality of data.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing degree in Business.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for tea and an interest in the beverage industry is a plus.
  • Prior experience or coursework in market research or consumer behaviour is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
