SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Retail Operations Intern will assist the Operations Manager in the planning and execution of high-quality retail activations in collaboration with our partners. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills he/she acquired in school related to his/her particular areas of interest and apply them in a professional setting. The candidate will gain professional experience in customer service, retail ops planning, merchandising and logistic planning skills for a global leader in immersive experience that holds global partnerships with billion-dollar studios.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the ops manager in all customer facing frontline retail matters.
- Assist the ops manager in backend logistic planning.
- Collate sales data and update inventory management system.
- Other tasks as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- An interest and aptitude to work in event planning, retail, logistics or associated management fields.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Creativity for promotional ideas, conceptualization of sales related activity.
- Must be trustworthy and able to work with confidential data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in frontline customer facing settings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
