Job Description
Access Singapore provides IT Services, IT Outsourcing, Disaster Recovery, Backup Solutions, Antivirus & Antipspam solutions.
You will be part of a team operating the client’s IT help desk as the first point of contact to users.
The job responsibility involves assisting users remotely in resolving issues encountered in their daily use of IT systems (e.g. PC configuration, setup), answering queries concerning usage of standard applications and IT services, and servicing request calls (e.g. account creation).
You are expected to resolve most of the PC client services calls, and be able to troubleshoot effectively, isolate the problem and dispatch the call to the next level, if necessary.
Handle incoming calls and emails on incidents reported by customers.
Perform ticket creation, updating, assigning, and closing of incident tickets.
Perform system monitoring functions within SMC.
Dispatch engineers to the sites to attend to machine faults.
Generate helpdesk reports.
Desktop skill/knowledge in Microsoft Windows / Windows XP,windows 7/window 8/ Microsoft Office/Backup schedule and check the completed backup.
