You have a basic understanding of design principles, user experience, and visual design, and you’re eager to learn more about creating seamless digital experiences. You’re naturally curious, detail-oriented, and excited to collaborate with a dynamic team.

What You'll Do

  • User Research: Assist in conducting user research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors through methods like surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Help create low- and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design ideas using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Visual Design: Assist in designing UI components, ensuring consistency with our design system, and maintaining a high standard of visual aesthetics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our platform.
  • User Testing: Participate in user testing sessions to gather feedback and make informed design improvements.
  • Iterative Design: Continuously refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users to ensure the final product meets user needs and business goals.

What We're Looking For

>> Technical Skills (Preferred):

  • Familiarity with design tools: Experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision for creating wireframes and prototypes.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles: Knowledge of user-centered design processes, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Visual design skills: A sense of typography, color, and layout to create aesthetically pleasing interfaces.

>> If You Don’t Have This Yet:

A strong willingness to learn: If you're passionate about UI/UX and ready to dive into the world of design and user experience, we’re happy to help you grow.

>> No Matter What:

  • Curiosity and initiative: You’re eager to explore new design tools and techniques and take ownership of your learning and tasks.
  • Attention to detail: You care deeply about creating polished, user-friendly designs.
  • Collaboration skills: You enjoy working in a team environment and are open to feedback and learning from others.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with user research and testing methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for understanding how designs translate into code.
  • Knowledge of design systems and maintaining consistency in design elements across projects.

What's In It for You?

  • Hybrid working: Flexibility to work from our office or from the comfort of your home part of the week.
  • Hands-on experience: You’ll work on real design projects and contribute to the development of an innovative shopping platform.
  • Learning opportunities: You’ll receive mentorship from senior designers and develop your skills in UI/UX design, user research, and prototyping.
  • A collaborative team: You’ll be part of a passionate and supportive group that values creativity, innovation, and user-centered design.
