Job Description

The Role

Neuron is looking for a Mechatronics Systems Intern to work cross functionally with engineering, product and innovation teams to improve the safety, performance and user experience of our light electric vehicles.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist in Innovation projects and prototyping cutting edge technologies to improve vehicle safety, performance and user experience 

  • Testing the vehicles in Singapore, working with the Product team to ensure the stability and performance of new product releases

  • Data collection and analysis of sensor, networking and positioning data from the vehicles and proposing new projects based on prototyping and data

 

What You'll Need

  • A strong approach to solving problems using fundamental physics first principles

  • A Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, completed or enrolled

  • Interest in sensor fusion, control systems design, computer vision and machine learning

  • Experience with ARM microcontrollers or any equivalent

  • Experience with ROS is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies

  • Knowledge about SQL or python is a plus
