What are we looking for ?
In the context of team expansion, NEURONES-IT Asia is currently looking for a dynamic and motivated IT Infrastructure Intern to join our fast-growing team !
Successful internship can lead to full-time position within our organization.
What will you be doing ?
As an IT Infrastructure Intern, a typical day might include the following:
Provide 1st Level Support to customers across APAC region sites :
- End user support and orientation
- Ensure any incident and service request is fully recorded, managed and tracked (ITIL practices)
- Track progress of incidents through the team and escalate to management to avoid SLA breaches
- Manage monitoring platform to support customers IT platform
- Deploying, maintaining, and configuring, workstations, laptops, printers & peripheral equipment
- Maintaining hardware and software warranties, keeping hardware and software inventory up to date
- Switch, computer: support, troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades
Higher profile could be involved on monitoring project upgrade and deployment projects.
What skills do we look for ?
You have to be familiar with the following set of technologies:
- Windows 7 & Windows 8.1
- TCP/IP networking knowledge (Basic switch configuration)
- Active directory
You should also have the following skills:
- Exchange
- Office 365
- Firewall (basic knowledge on Cisco ASA or SonicWALL)
What do we expect from you ?
- IT studies, IT diploma under preparation
- Desire to work in the IT/Infrastructure/Networking/Systems field
- Communication and customer service skills, willing to learn and grow
- Autonomous, know how to liaise with external vendors and internal teams
- ITIL certification and Service now experience are a plus
