Job Description

A pre-sales engineer is a technical expert who works in collaboration with the sales team to provide support and expertise during the sales process. They bridge the gap between the technical aspects of a product or service and the customer's needs, helping to ensure a successful sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of the company's products or services, their technical specifications,and how they can solve customer problems.
  • Needs Assessment: Engage with potential customers to understand their specific requirements and challenges.
  • Solution Design: Develop customized solutions or product configurations that meet the customer's needs.
  • Presentations and Demos: Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of the product or service.
  • Proof of Concept: Create and execute proof-of-concept projects to validate the proposed solution.
  • Technical Support: Address technical questions and concerns from customers during the sales process.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop sales strategies, provide technical guidance, and assist in closing deals.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
