As our Creative Marketing Intern, you are mainly responsible for managing our social media platforms. You will be given full creative control over the planning and execution of social media posts, and will be tasked to analyse its performance over time. You may also be tasked for any ad-hoc design/creative related activities required by the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Social Media Management
- Plan and strategize social media campaigns or posts that are in line with our brand and business objectives.
- Design and write engaging social media posts.
- Supervise and manage social media interactions between customers and the company, and provide an overall positive customer experience.
- Create actionable plans to grow & maintain followers on our social media platforms.
- Manage social media performance by using analytical tools, provide recommendations, and take necessary actions to improve performance.
2. Content Marketing
- Develop blog articles, illustrations, and infographics for social media and paid ads content.
- Design and manage e-newsletters or email campaigns.
3. Design & Creatives
- Design any ad-hoc illustrations or creative work required by the business such as pitch decks, and other marketing materials.
WHAT WILL I GET TO LEARN?
Cross-training is something we firmly believe in here at Nimbus. While your function might be in the Creative Marketing here at HQ, you will also be provided responsibilities where you get to learn about UI/UX design, technology and product building. Some of these tasks you’ll be exposed to includes:
- Web design skills via no-code platforms such as Webflow
- Learning how to develop Market-Viable Products (MVPs)
- Key facets of Product Development and UI/UX Design such as User Researching, Persona Development, Wireframing, and Prototyping
- Photography and Videography work
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Knowledge in design concepts and familiarity in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.
- Familiarity or knowledge in social media management.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight deadlines.
- Verbal and written fluency in the English language required.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design or design tools such as figma, sketch, balsamiq, or Adobe XD is a bonus
