Job Description

Business Development Intern

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Instarem SME sales team in finding new leads, developing and maintaining client relationships, and working with business teams on CRM campaigns to grow the SME portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business leads through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Provide support for follow-ups with leads and creation of sales and marketing content.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist the team in planning and executing sales events and networking activities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and business development activities.
  • Support CRM initiatives and assist clients with transaction-related enquiries.
  • Assist with competitor analysis and assess market trends to recommend new features or improvements aimed at increasing sales revenue.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree with in business/finance/marketing, or a related field
  • Hands-on knowledge of or familiarity with MS excel, JIRA, confluence, CRM tools is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, and project management would be an advantage
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills, data-driven, and able to think critically and creatively
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Proficient in English. Knowledge and Proficiency in other languages is an added advantage
