Job Description

NIUM is hiring for an exciting internship role in strategic partnerships for its core business solution – Instarem. Under this role, a successful candidate will be given an opportunity to fast track their growth in the  payments industry by working across consumer and SME business verticals. The right candidate will be solution oriented, analytical and comfortable with pushing the boundaries of business creativity. 

What would a day @Nium look like?

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize research, networking, outreach, and reengagement strategies to generate high-quality sales leads.

• Assessing sales leads through effective questioning and demonstrate product knowledge and business acumen to qualify prospects.

• Tailor sales pitches to address prospects' specific needs, delivering compelling presentations that resonate with their requirements.

• Support core team with key business relationships through active listening, objection handling, and consultative selling to recommend tailored Nium solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing and Singapore Sales team

• Maintain meticulous records of activities, opportunities, and progress against established metrics

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

• Basic analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and inform sales strategies.

• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and resilience, essential for navigating the challenges of sales environments.

• Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve shared objectives.

• Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, finance, or related fields, with an interest in international business or sales.

• While we recognize that academic achievements do not solely determine sales proficiency, we value candidates who maintain a solid academic record, showcasing dedication and a commitment to excellence.

• Additionally, proficiency with data analytics is highly regarded and considered an advantageous asset, empowering candidates to leverage insights effectively in their sales endeavors.

• Previous sales experience or internship experience in a related field is preferred but not required
