Founded in 1952, PPIS (Persatuan Pemudi Islam Singapura or the Singapore Muslim Women’s Association) is a non-profit organisation focused on community services. PPIS is dedicated to working with women of all ages in carrying out their multiple roles in society. We run three core community services, namely Family Services, Student Care, and a Residential Facility, serving as a secular halfway house for women engaged in community rehabilitation programs. With 10 centres island-wide, the services work together to provide quality and holistic support and developmental programmes for women and their families across the different phases of their lives.
Job Summary
The suitable candidate will be responsible for the development of resources for the purpose of fundraising. The candidate will also be involved in designing and curating materials to be published on various media platforms (print, outdoor and online). The candidate will support the team in vendor liaison and partner engagement.
Job Responsibilities
1. Support the planning and execution of PPIS fundraising initiatives
2. Social Media management
3. Engage and maintain relationship with donors
4. Coordinate with partners and/or vendors
5. Provide updates on fundraising progress and fundraising target 6) Assist in occasional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Job Requirements
1. Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
2. Independent, analytical and creative yet meticulous
3. Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite
4. Social media savvy
5. Ability to use Canva, Photoshop and/or Illustrator
