Job Description

Objectives of role:

  • Having better understanding of full HR spectrum through work practice.
  • Hands-on experience in planning, facilitation, execution and managing of HR matters that is involved in the full employee life-cycle (from recruitment - date joined - exit from company).


Key responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Talent search of retail staff (FT / PT)
  • Source & review (comparisons) external recruiters
  • Surface new recruiting channels
  • Uploading of Job Posting on online platforms.
  • Reference Check

Employee On-boarding

  • Furnish of employment letter
  • Overseeing and facilitate new hires with employment pass applications
  • Support in liaising with hiring managers for effective induction programs to support smooth transition into the business.
  • Follow up with new hire for onboard job progression through the 7-30-60-90 days on-boarding interviews (survey).

Payroll

  • Guided to conduct payroll cycle(s), from preparation to approval, and submission for bank clearance.

HR Events & Campaigns

  • Provide assistance to engage employees’ commitment to campaign objective.
  • Tracking of timeline and set up reminders
  • Scouting of prize souvenirs / certifications for rewarding, acknowledgement to performing employees.
  • Reporting of observations made.

Administrative and Supplementing Projects

  • Reservation of staff work travel arrangements that includes flight, accommodation and meeting rooms.
  • Update of employee listing and information
  • Execution of HR survey exercises with data collation for supporting evidence to understand climate of employee career journey.
    • Employee Satisfaction Survey exercise
    • Annual Performance Appraisal exercise

  • Resourceful, fast and efficient and able to work independently
