Job Description

Objective of role: 

  • Perform all accounting and administrative work in support of Finance department 
  • Assist Finance department on month end closing 

Position summary 

  • Record day-to-day collection receipts from all retail outlets 
  • Perform daily reconciliation of sales: Sales/Receipt/Bank. 
  • Checking of sales transactions (included unposted sales invoices) 
  • Assist in bank-in of cash and cheque collections 
  • Maintain up-to-date accurate billing and collection status 
  • Receive and verify supplier invoices (Compound documents for expenses paid via AMEX/ Debit card) 
  •  Assist in month-end closing (Bank Reconciliation and Prepayment)
  • Assist in interim and final audit 
  • Maintain proper filing system
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent 
  • Proactive • Organised and responsible 
  • Able to work independently and a good team player 
  • Able to prioritise and work under pressure 
  • Willing to learn and adapt to changes 
  • Meticulous and resourceful

Decision making: Without referral to manager 

  • Prioritization & delegation of tasks within assigned tasks 
  • Liaising with respective departments to collect data required After consultation with manager or others 
  • Implementation of processes / changes to SOP
