Job Purpose
To support and assist in Patient Safety operational processes at Country Organization as part of pharmacovigilance activities for marketed and investigational products under Novartis and Sandoz.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist Patient Safety to manage collection, documentation, triage, processing in Novartis Safety Database, follow-up, submission to local health authorities and archiving of all safety reports for all Novartis products from pre and post-authorization phase according to the defined timelines and quality parameters.
Assist to perform reconciliation with other departments (e.g. Medical Information, Quality Assurance and third party contractor, if applicable) for potential AEs resulting from medical inquiries, quality related complaints and other sources.
Perform training, under supervision, of Country Organization associates on relevant Patient Safety procedures for AE reporting during HR onboarding
Manage and maintain efficient Patient Safety filing and archive system.
Manage training records documentation
Perform any other relevant Patient Safety activities as assigned

Ideal Background
Education (minimum/desirable):
Preferably majoring in medicine, pharmacy, health discipline or life sciences
Languages:
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Experience/Professional requirement:
Knowledge of pharmacological and medical terminology.
Excellent communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Quality and focus oriented
Computer skills
