Job Description

Job Title: Account Executive Intern

 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive Intern to join our finance team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in financial management, reconciliation, and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Month-End Reconciliation:

    • Conduct month-end stock reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory records.
  2. Taxation Support:

    • Prepare and reconcile Quarterly GST submissions in compliance with regulatory standards.
  3. Bank Financing Documentation:

    • Assist in preparing documents for bank financing, such as Letters of Credit (LC) and Trust Receipts (TR).
  4. Bank Reconciliation:

    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and follow up on un-reconciled items to ensure accuracy.
  5. Staff Claims Management:

    • Prepare and disburse staff claims in a timely manner, adhering to company policies.
  6. Accounts Payable (AP):

    • Manage AP functions for the holding company, ensuring invoices are processed and payments are made promptly.
  7. Office Administration:

    • Handle general office administration matters to support day-to-day operations.
  8. Cash Flow Projection:

    • Assist in projecting monthly cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  9. Balance Sheet Schedules:

    • Support the preparation of month-end balance sheet schedules for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools/software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
