Job Description

This role will lead a team to plan manpower strategies for the organisation. He/ she will establish creative sourcing channels, develop effective selection tools and create positive onboarding experiences for new hires of the organisation. 

The incumbent would need to collaborate closely with business stakeholders to develop talent attraction approaches to meet evolving workforce requirements. 

As a team leader, he/ she will set directives and develop capabilities of the Talent Acquisition team. In addition, the incumbent also has to actively advocate on the employee value proposition and strengthen the employer brand in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead team to achieve annual balanced scorecard (BSC) and HR work plans in aspects of talent acquisition under internal and external channels.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and align hiring strategies, taking into account existing and future business needs. Review and advise on current and future manpower supply and demand and bench strength of capabilities needs.
  • Gather best recruitment practices on fair and unbiased selection processes, labour policies, workforce trends and latest MOM regulatory. Additionally strive to work closely with business in facilitating compliance to legislation at all times. 
  • Design screening and assessment approaches using a combination of assessment tools and techniques. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assessment tools and recommend continuous improvement actions. 
  • Raise employer branding and through development of recruitment videos, collaterals and communications with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Curate high impact, innovative and consistent recruitment messaging to elevate public awareness, aligned with organisation-wide branding strategy. 
  • Design pre-onboarding programmes, incorporating positive changes in processes and systems to achieve a robust service delivery and operational excellence.
  • Co-create a cohesive and agile team and provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to team members.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in supervisory/ managerial position 
  • Degree in business, human resource, marketing or equivalent
  • Strong writing skills is a must
  • Collaborative work style 
  • Preferably with some experience in agile coaching 
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications
