Reporting to the CEO of a new start-up, managing the end-to-end administrative, accounting and finance aspects for the company.
1a. Manage logistical arrangement.
b. Book keep and maintain proper documentation and filing on both soft copy and hard copy.
c. Manage general administration and soft and hard copy filing.
d. All administrative activities in relations to Human Resources.
e. Manage the monthly payroll activities.
f. Assist in the preparation of powerpoint slides, excel and word documents.
g. Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the CEO.
2a. Time management methods
i. Perform month-end closing activities
ii. Maintain accurate financial records and statements
iii. Record and process all business transactions in the accounting system using double-entry accounting
iv. Record transactions and events relating to sales, purchases, receivables, payables and cash
v. Record transactions and events relating to inventory, accruals, prepayments, capital structure and finance costs
vi. Calculate customer and/or supplier account balances and reconcile with totals vii. Compile the relevant business documentation used in banking processes
viii. Process payroll transactions into the organisation’s accounting system
b. Process business transactions and reports using information technology tools
i. Enter accurate data into the accounting system
ii. Use relevant Infocomm technology systems and tools effectively for data analysis
iii. Retrieve system reports from the accounting system for management’s use
iv. Assign account codes to all transactions in the accounting system
v. Assist to prepare consolidated financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts for management and external stakeholders c. Interpret the organisation's policies, procedures and standards to manage employees.
i. Understand the legal and industry requirements, and organisational policies and procedures for planning and developing.
ii. Set-up processes and various forms/ templates required to comply with legal and industry requirements. i
Iii. Contribute to workplace change projects and programmes
iv. Promote an effective team working culture by employing ways to effectively enhance relationships among co-workers
