You will be part of the new NUS College administrative team working with the Vice Dean (Special Programmes) to set up, coordinate and develop two special programmes at the college—the Impact Projects Programme and the Global Pathways Programme. 

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Work with Vice Dean (Special Programmes) in duties related to the setting up, coordination and development of one of the following programmes: Impact Projects Programme, which will have students working in interdisciplinary teams, engaging with nonprofits, mentored by faculty members, to found future solutions to today’s problems to benefit communities in Singapore or in the region; Global Pathways Programme, which will have students participating in curated learning journeys of immersive experiences and field visits in global cities across Asia, Europe and North America, and in other unique study abroad opportunities around the world

- Handle administrative backend operations for student exchange programmes and other international programmes, finance administration, ethics reviews, grant and award applications, and project milestones management 

- Provide support for faculty members involved in designing and implementing the academic components of the programmes

- Manage programme logistics and organise events related to the programmes

- Coordinate publicity campaigns for the special programmes, their learning outcomes and the students’ work

- Work with the other administrative teams in the NUS College Deanery on cross-functional and shared duties


Qualifications

• A good university degree, preferably in Arts, Business Administration, Communication Studies, Science, or Social Sciences

• Interested in advancing innovative undergraduate education

• 1-2 years of work experience preferred, but not required 

• Organized, meticulous and able to work independently

• Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills 

• Team-player who is able to work tactfully with fellow staff members

• Enjoys interacting with faculty members and students

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
