Job Description

Overall Job Scope

The Food Science Intern at Nut Culture will gain an incredible amount of hands-on experience and gain an in-depth insight into R&D, food application and production in the food industry.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop new products 
  • Research on the relevant ingredients and understand how each ingredient affects the properties of the product 
  • Refine recipe for mass production 
  • Research and develop new packaging to extend shelf life of our products naturally 
  • Assist in carrying out food application trials
  • Perform production of plant-based foods (including maintaining and cleaning of the production space) 
  • Assist in reviewing the production process
  • Sourcing for alternative ingredients or suppliers 

Who we are looking for: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in food science or equivalent 
  • Meticulous and detail oriented 
  • Flexible mindset 
  • Able to commit for at least 4 months
  • Must be Singapore Citizen / Permanent Resident
