Job Title: Part-time Event Operations Person

Department: Events

Reports To: Event Manager

Summary:

The Part-time Event Operations Person is responsible for assisting with the execution of events and day-to-day office work. This position is part-time and has a flexible schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including loading and unloading equipment, setting up tables and chairs, and decorating the venue.
• Provide customer service to event attendees, including answering questions, directing them to the correct areas, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all event needs are met.
• Manage event budgets and track expenses.
• Complete administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in event operations or a related field.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
